ALL ABOUT ABSTRACTS
Abstracts
An abstractis a concise summary of a research paper or study. It typically highlights the key points of the work, including the objective, methodology, results, and conclusion. We accept three types of abstracts for submission: case reports, review articles, and original research.
Please note that once your case is submitted, it is considered the final version and cannot be modified further.
Parts and Word limit
Each type of abstract submission follows a specific structure:
- Case Report: Introduction, Summary, Conclusion, and Keywords
- Review: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusion and Keywords
- Original Research: Introduction, Aim, Materials and Methods, Summary, Conclusion, and Keywords
Please be aware that there is a word limit of 250 words per abstract (excluding titles and keywords). Abstracts exceeding this limit will not be accepted for submission.
Additionally, please refrain from using any acronyms or abbreviationswithout first providing an explanation. The useof acronyms or abbreviations in the title of an abstract is strictly prohibited.
Keywords are the Key
Keywords should be listed alphabeticallyand must comprise a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 terms. These keywords should be selected from the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) database, and note that only terms designated as headingsin the MeSH database may be used as keywords.
Authors of the abstract
Each abstract submission may include up to five authors, including the mentor. When registering for our congress, participants may choose one of the following roles:
- Be the main author for a singlesubmission.
- Serve as the main author for onesubmission and a co-author for oneadditional submission.
- Serve as a co-author on two submissions.
Please orderthe authors based on importance and note that the corresponding author must be the person that fills out the application form.
Grading System
Upon submission of your abstract, it will be assigned to two randomreviewers from our scientific team. Reviewers will only have access to the title and the abstract itself, with no identifying information regarding authors or institutions. Each abstract will undergo a thorough evaluation, including checks for plagiarismand detection of AI-generated content. Please be advised that any abstracts found to violate these standards will be automatically disqualified. We take the integrity of our congress seriously, and any attempt to submit unethical work will not be tolerated.
